Since we're posting video

Here is one of my approach into KSLC tonight. Raw and unedited. In all its -427 fpm glory.
A little high and a little hot, but not as bad as someone else who shall not remain nameless... but I'll save that for another thread.
Click here to see the crash.. I mean, video
To everyone who showed up this evening, thanks again for a great flight as usual!
P.S. The audio you hear was me talking on the company channel. For some reason the incoming audio didn't record.

Fraps
There is a setting that lets you record the ATC audio as well. Apparently there is more to it than checking the box though.

Nice video, but you were still #2.

I did give a certain Commander a run for his money.
Chris that was... wait for it... the Captain Dim 727 in FS2004 and the lights are courtesy of Ultimate Terrain USA. I also have REX.

The Audio records from your main computer speakers/audio. One needs to set your headset, microphone and the FS sounds to come from the one audio source... the default speakers from your computer.
I have FRAPs, the payware version, and use it quite often.

That was a nice landing Bert other than the fact you were a bit high and a bit fast. Now that I didn't see a burrito in the hand of the pilot, how do I know for sure that was your plane you recorded? I didn't see any landing gear being buried into the runway and/or an open window in the cockpit from that "missing" burrito. I call it FAKE.

Boy, that last minute runway line-up looks just like most of my landings!
Good thing it wasn't recorded in 1080p or we would be able to see if the VSI was slightly above or below 500fps.
Were all those blinking red lights at the airport buildings or airplanes?

Nice landing Bert, though for a while it looked like you couldn't decide if you were landing on the right or left rwy. Touch down looked better than 420fpm but it's hard to tell from an inside view.
Good job with the video.

The red blinking was from the multiplayer traffic at the gates. The VSI reading was from FSACARS. I'll have to record the next one in full resolution so we can compare the gauge to the recorded value. I appreciate the compliments. I know it wasn't a picture perfect landing (no pun intended).
I'm having a little fun with the video recordings though.

I forgot about FSACARS. I went and checked the logs. -473fps. Hard but within our company limits. Well done.
I hope to make these logs available to all pilots by the end of the year.
