There we were... flying along... minding our own business... enjoying the Alaska scenery when... thunder began to flash everywhere.

The clouds cleared eventually but the lightning continued all the way to the runway, no precipitation at all, just thunder... and northern lights. Weird!

Edit: I just reviewed the approach video and there was no more lightning. I guess it was so bad I just got used to it. Approach video coming up as soon as it uploads. (P.S. I think this whole FiOS thing is a sham because my uploads are still half-fast )
