DTGFS is available for pre-order with a release date some time in april. Cost is $14.99. Has anyone bitten or planning to? I feel tempted just to get a taste of what their full version might be like.

I have noticed that there sure are a lot of 50% off sales on flight sim addons lately. I don't think it will be difficult for 3rd party developers to offer new addons but everything will have to be coded from scratch.
