American Airlines Virtual

Both American Airlines and One World have quit publishing .PDF versions of their timetables. Without this data, I have no way of updating our VA timetables to stay current with real world timetables.

If anyone has suggestions of other sources for current AA or OW timetable data, let me know.

If anyone has suggestions for what to do with our timetables going forward, please add to this thread.

As long as I know where I want to go, flightaware or aa.com do the trick. Anything beyond that and it becomes a bit of a daunting task. I still can't come up with a historical AE bid. I wish I had a creative solution, but...

I appreciate the work to keep these time tables current, Mike.

I had previously reported a problem searching the timetables by specific equipment. I used the 737-800 as an example. Good news, searching for 737-800 now appears to pull codeshare AND non-codeshare B738 flights. BUT, equipment search does not work for MD83. You get no hits at all; however, there are a handful of MD83 flights - AAL1111, AAL1169, AAL347, AAL2605 ... to list a few. These can be pulled up by flight number and arrival/departure airports.

I updated the search terms to:
1. Match the equipment codes used in the new timetables
2. Consolidate equipment types (e.g. give one "Boeing 737" search term for 737-400, 737-500, 737-600, ... 737max).

Give it a try now.
