Post Bertday Report - The World Survives!!

See, nothing happened. We woke up to a new day. Bert Rivera had another birthday and the world survived.
CO2 and methane levels are up a little; Taco Bell traffic was a little heavier; there was a brief alarm in the DC area caused by reports of a strange eerie glow (that did not penetrate Presidential airspace - the fighter scramble was just precautionary); but the anticipated catastrophic impact never really materialized. Still, it probably was wise to heed law enforcement advice to not unnecessarily stir up public emotion until after the event.
So, now that the peak danger period has passed and we're just back to a normal Bert-danger level, those in the know and slept restlessly last night can now wish Bert Rivera a very happy birthday!!!
