Time and date on your flights filed with FSACARS FYI

Greetings all,
I have noticed for some time now that if you save a flight in your FS program and use it as a default start up and you do not have use system time checked, the filed time and date for your FREP will show that date used and saved.

Now what this does is file a date with FSACARS if you use it for the flight, but does not use the current date. Unless one changes the date in the sim or FSACARS you will file an incorrect date. And as such the date may be so far back your filed reports date counter will show you close to or over the time allowed for filing reports per each rank. The computer will put you in the inactive list, even though you just filed a report. This does happen. One pilot in the DFWT HUB has filed a report for his last 3 flights but the date shows 30 day ago. I have done this myself.

So the thing to do is look at the date for the flight made and filed. I as a HUB manager should check it better.

Thanks.

Good to know. I will have to keep a closer eye on the dates as well. Thank you for the heads up Wayne.
