The AAV September Theme Flight from KBOS - KMIA

I used a Retro B747, as you can see by the pictures for this flight. I am working out the bugs in P3DV5 and as the PMDG 747 is the only heavy right now I thought I would give it a go, and it being a Jumbo RETRO and using a "fantasy" airline livery.

Pushing back and taxi to the runway took a few minutes as the B747 doesn't move too fast. It took me awhile to figure out how to start the engines as I haven't used this A/C for some time.
This is the second flight with the new for us SIMACARS. This was a 2.7 hour flight and no CTD.

I did not put up a lot of screenshots in the air as they all look alike, sort of. This is the only one to see.

Final approach to KMIA shows the moisture in the air as the condensation from the wings really billows up.

This is a shot of my entire desktop. 3 monitors for all the information needed for flight. Communications and flight engineer left screen, out the window front screen, Navigation, right screen.

I use P3DV5, PMDG, Orbx scenery, Fly Tampa KBOS, Opus weather, Immersion Manager for aircraft effects.

Thanks

I've just went to two monitors, but now I'm thinking three is even better.

Do you run two graphics cards?

Yes I am using two Nividia GEForce 1080TI cards. 3x monitors is the way to go. I rigged it up some years ago for my cockpit screens, but messed up. The front is a 27" and the sides are smaller, 24" , They should have been all the same.

I also flew the Sept. theme filght (thx for these Wayne) but I flew it on an FNO night. It was good thought because it was an "Open Mic" FNO which means there was no specific airport/region being highlighted. "Open Mic" means they try to have ATC open across most all regions the U.S. Since I was flighting online during the FNO during all the prep and getting clearance, I forgot to change my Sim time and flew it at real time, meaning the flight was in the dark which is not good for pics.

I did take one or two pics to post but unfortunately I can't find them. I think I either pressed the wrong key to get the shots or if I did press the correct key I didn't press it hard enough. Either way I can't find/don't have my pics of the Sept. Theme flight.

Wayne - those are nice pics.

...I won't admit to it

P.S. I need to proofread my post, especially when I'm creating a hurried post
