Staring my VFR tour. First leg of flight was in a Baron 58. Initially had to fly below the clouds until I found a hole that allowed me to climb above them.

Once above the clouds I had to find another hole to allow me to descend into A79 and land.

VFR leg #2, I changed a/c at A79 to the Cessna C340 and departed to land at 4K5. Since I'm using P3D4 my scenery is not near as nice as that of MSFS2020.

Forgot to get any pics of Leg #3 & 4 so here's Leg #5 after departing 2K5 for 5CD. Really had to fly low to stay out of the clouds for visibility.

Finally getting to 5CD and landing in a snow storm.

Leg #6, 5CD - PACR.

On the runway for t/o with some serious mountains in the distance. Probably can't climb fast enough to clear them so the plan after takeoff I'm hug the mountains to my right and may a left turn back the opposite direction where the mountains are not as close or as high. It's a clear day with few clouds, ideal for VFR flying.

Nice shots, Ted. Looks like you are flying in P3D?? One thing I miss in MSFS 2020 is the replay feature - just not there, yet. It's so helpful especially in getting the landing exterior photos.

I've been flying with real wx and have been stuck at CCI9 Cortes Island airport (VFR leg 11 destination) because of terrible weather in the Pacific Northwest blocking my VFR flight to VFR leg 12 destination, 13W Camano Island airfield. I may be able do it this afternoon if the wx will improve a little.

Harold - Yes, I'm using P3D as you can tell by the lack of outstanding scenery that you have been sharing with us. Didn't know that MSFS 2020 didn't have replay. Without that I couldn't get any landing shots  .

Been flying all my VFR flights with real weather and there were a couple of legs that I had to hunt around for holes in the clouds to 1) get above them, then 2) a hold to descend thru for the approach. Has been a real learning experience dodging clouds trying to maintain visibility. Had one real "pucker" moment when a thick haze developed and I'm flying over, or at least I hoped I was flying over the mountains. Wasn't sure of the highest mountain height along my route.

Mike - That's the same thing that I thought as I was flying. Looking at the scenery below make me think "Man I would not want to be on foot down there."
