VFR Tour #24 KBXK Buckeye Municipal Airport- F37 Carrizozo Municipal Airport

Decided to get an early morning start on this flight from KBXK on the eastern edge of Phoenix airspace.
Walking up to the plane. Needed the flashlight to see what was where.
I planned to fly this direct from departure location to destination which would take me through Phoenix Class B airspace. Phoenix Approach was online and he pre-cleared me before takeoff to transit Class B while climbing above it @ 11,500 ft.
Started up and taxied to threshold and then the runway. Ready to roll. Climbing. Beautiful reflection of clouds on the cowling as I approached flight altitude. Be careful not to get lulled into complacency during long cruise on autopilot. Scan outside. Did see an overtaking and higher commercial flight out the left window. Scan inside. Check location. Repeat. Had already descended to 9, 500 ft and should clear the terrain ahead by 1,000+ ft. Destination is at 5,300 ft altitude approx 25 nm past this range. This was the longest recent flight, and now it's time to stretch those legs, refill the coffee thermos, and empty the "milk-jug". When you're old like me and Ted, the coffee necessitates the latter.
Had to redo this message several times fooling with the attachments. Left the following here rather than have to redo the message again.
