Aircraft use for AAV.

Greetings all,
This note is directed to those pilots whom have yet to take any Check Flights for Pilot Rank and aircraft endorsements.
There are five (5) rank advancement Check Flights to fly. Those like all our Check Flights have been tailored to specific aircraft for use.
We have and do allow various and substitute aircraft for you to use on the rank advancement Check Flights. This is to allow each pilot to be able to advance with the aircraft available in their respective simulators. We realized some time ago as the simulators changed and updated they reduced the availability of aircraft for use. The simulator designers and hosters now expect you to purchase an add-on aircraft to fly. We know it can be costly at times for some.
Now, however, we do have our Endorsement Check Flights (7 of them), which use a specific aircraft. That is the reason we have them. They do not have any rank advancement features, just the knowledge and self pride, that you are able to become certified within our VA and operate the various aircraft correctly. And get a nifty certificate also. For those Retro Certified we have a very comprehensive retro timetable, hand entered, using original AA timetables from last Century! Note here; if the endorsement Check Flight calls for specific aircrafts, then that is what you will need to use.
Endorsement certificates are not required for any pilot, they are an extra honor to have. It is hoped that as you become more serious in the virtual flight world you will want to fly a different and more sophisticated aircraft by a private vendor and will purchase these products for use. Many of us whom have been here at AAV for several years have done so.
Thank you
AAV Training Department.
