Richard, Here is the linke for the information on the AAV web site for training which includes the checkride.

http://www.aavirtual.com/modules.php?name=Training

On the page is a download Retro checkride packet. It is no secret and available for all to look at, however you must have been "nominated" by your hub manager to be able to upload your checkride for submission to our training departments very capable and friendly, courteous, helpful, thrifty, kind, obedient, checkride pilots. :D

The DC-6 is what you will do the checkride in, and it is available for both FS9 and FSX.
This is a good piloting by the seat of your pants ride. And worth it !

One of the toughest checkrides we have, no doubt!

Richard, Just being a Captain is enough. Your Hub manager just has to push a button on his computer to issue you the checkride authorization. Just send him an e-mail requesting it.

The DC-6 is available for FSX either on our web site or from Cal classics. Cal Classics has a better download as it is updated for FSX with newer files, they make the plane.
