I've been on two 744's, a United flight from Dulles to Frankfurt and a Lufthansa hop from Frankfurt to Dubai. The former was not very exciting, but Lufthansa's bird was quite comfortable, even in coach. Their service was way better too. It was a nice flight. My favorite part of any flight is getting pinned back into the seat on takeoff, but I have to say that the 744 wasn't really that explosive off the line if you know what I mean.
