Flying on this GFI were Rick Stevens (AAV409), me (AAV580), Wayne Pierce (AAV783), and my grandson, Cade, (AAV3100 maybe when he gets old enough). Cade flew as my co-pilot.

I let my co-pilot do the take off and then we engaged the a/p. Cade and I are monitoring the systems as we turn over the Salt Lake.

and here we are at LAX. How some of us finally managed to get there will remain an inside story.

It was great to have my grandson, Cade, here to fly with me. He enjoyed the GFI, and, maybe in another 8 years he can join AAV. He's already a good pilot.
