Red lights are flashing, alarms ringing ... does that mean I have to wake up? That depends, maybe birthday boys get to hit the snooze alarm ... maybe, Sergio?

"But Bert said he would take control and let me get a few winks on this long trans-oceanic flight ..." "Wait a minute speaking of Bert, where the heck is he???"

Looks like Sergio is in that twilight between dream and reality ... again.

Shaking the cobwebs loose and gingerly sitting up on the side of the bed, Sergio spys a card leaning against the clock, and he thinks, "My lovely wife has put today's todo list where I can easily find it. How sweet she is." Sometimes Sergio IS right!

Opening the card to see the schedule for today's missions of harmonious marriage accord, he see's two words in big bold letters - "GET UP!" and in smaller letters "breakfast and coffee are ready".

Bleary eyed, Sergio stumbles into the kitchen to greet his wife with a "Whazzzup?" Then, he sees the beautifully laid out table with his fav breakfast laid out. "Wow, hon, you fixed Huevos Rancheros for me. I'm really a lucky man ... but what's with candle stuck in there?"

Wake up, Sergio!!!! It ain't Groundhog Day. You don't get to save that bad landing or JS41 engine fire by hitting reset. This is real life. Face the fact -- it's your birthday!!!! You can't run and you can't hide from it .... embrace it!! Age is beautiful! Think positive .... yeah, tell me about how positive you are that part of the bod used to not creak and used to work better yesterday. Go back to the start of this paragraph and re-read it until you've purged all these negative thoughts.

No. It's really emergency services - fire, police, and hospice - in front of your house, just in case they're needed.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY, man!!! And no "party" excuses tonight. It's GFI night. Do what you know is right ..... and enjoy your birthday!
