haha..hey do you play BF3 on pc, xbox, or ps3? been interested in getting it...like i'll have the time to play since i've recently been addicted to World of Tanks.

haha..no world of tanks is not steal beast by any means. Not a simulation like steal beast...just a multiplayer tank game modeling after wwi and wwii tanks from all nations. you rank up and upgrade your tank gaining experience points and money from your battles...then you can by a higher tier tank.(gameplay-->http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hJd9iCbpwuI) i've always wanted to try steal beast, but don't want to put the money down. world of tanks is free, but you can purchase gold to convert points and what not. I put like $15 or $7 a month into it. Same developers are currently alpha testing world of warplanes (wwi thru korean war planes).(gameplay-->http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JOtzkxTEEn0)
...and they are in early developments for world of battleships.

haha..i said the same thing..if anything..spend some to get a month premium membership...you will see your xp and cash mount up as you get 50% more if premium per match. i currently have a T20(VII), T29(VII), M4A3E2 Sherman(VI), M2 medium(III), and M41(V). I've recently gotten into SPGs(Artillery).

Tips
when you buy a tank..buy with crew at 75%!!! crew skill makes a world of difference. Accuracy increases when you let your turret and gunner zero in(sites will stop getting smaller....very important in spg role). Use your cover. Learn the weak parts of the tank. I only learned of the special site button (Left Shift). For regular tanks it just zooms quickly to sniper mode like when you zoom in with your mouse. But for SPG...it gives you Artillery view finder. Kind of like Top-Down view on flight sim. I tried playing spg for a month and sucked until I discovered that. I was a noob.

And of other note...i also discovered you can have more than one match going at a time. IF you die..hit escape key. Click exit match. It will then take you to the garage. If you own more than one tank...you can then go into battle with any other tank not currently in battle.

THE biggest problem with Steel Beasts is the $$$ you layout to find that armored warfare is short and brutal. You can lengthen your lifespan a little by employing good tactics IF you can hang in there long enough to learn them; otherwise, you are out a lot of $$$.

Yes I agree that World of Tanks is definitely arcadish. I'm okay with that. It's still entertaining. Tactics are still important, a large variety of old tanks from different nations, and large multiplayer action is why I do it. It is what you make of it. You can use tactics, or you can run and gun.
