Old School plane spotting

Post by Michael Blakely »

Just saw 7+ Stearman bi-planes fly over, around, up, down the neighborhood for about 10 minutes and then land at Carlsbad airport (KCRQ). I tried to get pictures, but they don't do the planes justice. Here are some of the ones I saw:

Nice. Tomorrow I'm heading to the McGuire/Fort Dix Open House. Excited. They'll be old and new birds. It will be my little girls first airshow. A bit nervous. Thinking of buying some ear plugs.
