In terms of weather generation in FSX, yes, although I still think Active Sky does a better job. But what REX really excels at is texture replacement in FSX. I really makes a huge difference in HOW the weather looks in FSX.
I have used the REX for my weather graphics since they came out. The one reason they look good is the way they were processed. The cloud images were captured on large format film, then digitized. Film pictures are far superior than the digital ones.
REX weather generation program is to involved and I don't want to take that time and mess with it. Active sky, Evolution and 6.5, both are what I use for the generation, Evolution is on my flight computer and 6.5 is on the LAN network. It, to me, is much easier and does a superb job as well.

That is my story and I am sticking to it. :D

One thing I would add is the Level-D 767. It's a great a/c with very few bugs (only found two after a year of flying). Has a great FMC.
