I have been the hub manager here at DFW for a long while now. I became the AHM in 2007 and took over the hub from Jose Suarez when he retired from management in 2009. I've enjoyed assisting all of the DFW pilots to get the best from this great VA. However I think it's time to move on and make room for others to run the hub and bring new ideas. Therefore I will be stepping down from hub management. Wayne Szot, the current AHM, has kindly agreed to step up to the challenge and become the new DFW hub manager. He has done a great job assisting me as AHM and I know will do a great job as the new hub manager. I'm leaving the hub in good hands.
I am not retiring to KPSP though. I will still be part of the DFW hub and plan to get a lot more flying time in now.

Thanks, Ted, for your willingness to pitch in and contribute. That's what has made AAV so great. Those following in your shoes -- and all the others who give their time -- have had a great example to follow.
Wisdom begins when you finally realize someone else is in charge of the universe.

The air up there in the clouds is very pure and fine, bracing and delicious. And why shouldn't it be?--it is the same the angels breathe.
