Erjv2. Help!

Post by Kyle David »

Hello I have an issue with my erjv2 addon. During flight when I engage the autopilot and if I use LNAV or HDG select it over banks the airplane whenever I hit turbulence. Sometimes it seems the Autopilot is soo unstable and it has knocked the airplane into a very steep bank and has put it upside down. When I disengage the AP all is fine when I hand fly it but the AP keeps doing that . I'm not sure if its due to the fps or the turbulence or both. I'm using fs9. Everything else on the erjv2 is fine however.
Thank you
Kyle

Kyle,
I assume that is the FeelThere ERJ which I have but I fly it in FSX. I have never experienced the problem you describe but I did look at the panel and documentation which discusses a BNK button. I have never used this button but the docs say it is a Bank Limiter. It's worth trying if you have not already done so. Also I assume you enable the Flight Director (FD button). The docs indicate the autopilot will not function properly without it being enabled.

Just some suggestions of things to try...

Hello thank you for your response. Actually yes I am using the bank limiter and fd and when I change my headings if there is turbulence my bank exceeds and the airplane gets knocked into a steep bank. Same with LNAV. That's literally the only thing everything else I have no complaints.

Thank you all for your help. Yes, I had the joystick axes disconnected button clicked. I'm thinking maybe it was the turbulence speed i could have been overspeeding it I guess. I will try to find a way around it. thank you all again for trying to help
Kyle.
