What's the current preference?
So getting back into things..what's the preference around here for FSX Vatsim connectivity. I used to always use FSinn? Does it work good in Windows 7? Or are people using squakbox? is there another client I dont even know about?

Re: What's the current preference?
Rey,
A new VATSIM communique is V Pilot.
http://vpilot.metacraft.com/
It is simple and works for Comms well. I have remove SB4 off the computer and don't even look at the Fsinn. The downside is the model matching area, it really is tough to figure out. I still cannot get it to work right. I just turn off the error beep in windows sound.
About 3/4 of us on the GFI use it. It works well with all platforms.
Take a lookey.

Re: What's the current preference?
I'm still using FSInn and only recently had an issue with it. I like the model matching feature of FSInn even though it is time consuming to set up, but once set up it's good-to-go.
The issue I've been having with it recently is that if I launch FSInn after loading a complex a/c (i.e. payware) it will lock up FSX. I have to launch FSInn while using default a/c then I can switch a/c once it loads. I actually don't think this is actually an FSX problem. The problem started when I launched the configuration application for one of my payware a/c. I normally use FSX to load fuel but this time decided to utilize the a/c's configuration program to setup the fuel. I had multiple problems from that point on...
