The clouds cleared eventually but the lightning continued all the way to the runway, no precipitation at all, just thunder... and northern lights. Weird!
Edit: I just reviewed the approach video and there was no more lightning. I guess it was so bad I just got used to it. Approach video coming up as soon as it uploads. (P.S. I think this whole FiOS thing is a sham because my uploads are still half-fast
)
