FSACARS data

Post by Michael Blakely »

A note on the new FSCARS data collection. When this is finished in the next month or so, additional flight data will be available in your pilot log, and also used for contests. This is the same data you see in your FSACARS reports just before you submit your logs.

Given this will be, ahem, 'public data', you may want to pay attention to it starting now. I only bring this up because it seems the sheer weight of all the gold leaf on some of our Commander's shoulder boards are making it hard for them to keep their landings under the 500 fpm threshold.

On the subject of FSACARS, I can't seem to find any clear instructions on how to properly set it up.
Any help will be appreciated and apologies if I have actually missed any such info on the forums.
To date I have been using the manual input for my FREPs.

Thanks in advance,
Phil.

No, on the contrary it was quite funny. It seems that only Commanders fly the GFI's for some reason, and we are always jabbing each other about our landing rates. We see if each of us can pass the checkride landing rates or fail it.
