Here they are hot off the digital camera, the first May Theme Flight pictures.

I don't visit the far East much, I don't speak the languages, but pictures tell the story.

The flight, RJAA to VHHH, took 4.5 hours with the B747 in Cathay livery.

PMDG B747, P3DV3.4, ORBX Global landclass scenery.

At the gate at RJAA loading baggage and Souls aboard.

Pre flight aircraft check and in the cockpit

Wheels up and climbing to the route and altitude.

Finally at altitude going by Mt Fuji.

Land fall over Taiwan.

And the Mainland of China, then on to Hong Kong.

Now the approach and landing.

At the gate and deplaning and offloading the baggage.

Nice pics Wayne....looks like a nice flight. That PMDG 747 looks very good and makes we want to fly the 747 but I don't have a payware version so I will probably use my 777. I also have the 767 and have always thought I don't need another heavy but that 747 is tempting.

I thought I had a shot during cruise as I passed a snow capped mountain in Japan but I can't find it. I remember viewing it from several angles to get the best shot but guess I never actually pulled the trigger. So now we go right to descent phase.
