FSX SE performance disapointment(processor)

i have been using a core i7 2720qm for flight simming for some time now, performance of FSX SE on it was very good, but then a bought a Q6600 processor and then there was the disapointment,a 10 year old processor was perfoming nearly as good in FSX as the core i7, i tested it with all the addons, ASN, REX4, Aerosoft airbus. Only significant difference was on the addon airports like OEJN i have been using, only on this airport performance on the core i7 was signinficantly faster. So if you are on a tight budget and want a good simming experience go for a cheapest second hand processor on the market at only 24$ i think. i am running at a 1080p moniter.
