Re: Hello from KPVD
Welcome Serge, and thanks for introducing yourself.
Not many do anymore, we appreciate it, well I do anyway.
Have fun with the "Bus", I don't use one, but there are several here that do. Now file your first FREQ and get flying !
Thanks

Re: Hello from KPVD
Welcome aboard Serge. Very happy you jumped on the forum and introduced yourself.
As you, the Airbus did confuse me (and still does sometimes) when I first started flying it in the Sim. I cut my teeth on flying Boeing so it took me a long while to feel comfortable flying the Aerosoft A32x. You will especially get frustrated with the Airbus FMS. It seems backward to me compared to Boeing (but I'm sure Airbus pilots say that about Boeing).
I look forward to running into you in the virtual skies, that is if you fly online.

Re: Hello from KPVD
Welcome aboard, Serge.
Navy - check. 1971-93.
Pilot's license - Check. PPL in 1971.
Family/real life interrupted flying - Check. Was out of flying about 30 years. Got current about 10 years ago. Flew a couple years but rental a/c availability at my small hometown airport and high and rising rental costs caused me to quit after adding about 75 hrs to my logbook (abt 150 total). Actually have some T/A4C stick time (unlogged) courtesy USN.
Flight simming - Check. Since early 80's with the first commercial sim Bruce Artwick's SubLogic flight sim for Apple. and every version since. Primarily fly on P3DV4.5 but also doing some on MSFS 2020 (waiting for it to mature more - but it will get there).
I'm the hub manager @ KPHX and would love to have you join us there!

Serge, your video is great, we have created a you tube channel for pilots https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCJNWUO ... -Yi6XpUcHA, if you want to share it with me I will be happy to upload any video you want.
Of course both the video channel and Discord Chat is at your disposal if you want to transmit any live flight.
Welcome and I hope you enjoy our company.

The air up there in the clouds is very pure and fine, bracing and delicious. And why shouldn't it be?--it is the same the angels breathe.

Re: Hello from KPVD
Welcome aboard Serge. I'm the KLAX hub manager and would love to have you join the west coast crew when you get out of training. I'm a Boeing guy myself, but have flown the A320 once in a blue moon. I know much more about the Boeing than I do the Airbus. Thank you for your service. I'm looking forward to seeing you in the online virtual skies.
