New Operations Manager

We've got a new staff position here at AAVirtual. Our first Operations Manager is going to be Omar Campanalunga.

Omar has been a dedicated leader here at AAVirtual over the last year, promoting growth in our VA, on-line flying, our Discord channel, and setting up our World Tour. We've decided to formalize Omar's role in the new Operations Manger staff position. Below is a summary of the role.

Please join me in congratulating Omar in his new position.

OPERTAIONS MANAGER
Promote AAVirtual flying by scheduling and promoting:
- AAVirtual events such as group flights and multi-segment flights
- VATSIM events (includes coordination with ARTCC’s and other VA’s)
- Theme flights

Promote pilot learning and realism:
- Equipment and route recommendations
- Building a library of common routes

Add variety to our pilot options:
- Seek out historical AA and OneWorld timetable data to be added to the retro timetable
- Recommend aircraft to be added to the AAVirtual extended fleet in the timetable search criteria and FREP dropdown box
- Identify and submit AAVirtual repaints for addition to the AAVirtual member download page
- Identify aircraft checklists for addition to the AAVirtual member download page

We are already working on the organization of operations, soon we will have uploaded the VFR USA TOUR Online and offline (for all pilots), we will also have new alliances for new events with other airlines, we will reinforce the Discord with a new Chat "Operatons" where if you have any questions on flights, types of aircraft or routes you can leave me a message, and finally, we want to give you the best quality and realism in historical flights of American Airlines.

I want to thank all the staff for their support to this idea especially Mike.

My goal is that all pilots can enjoy our AAV community.
