Welcome aboard AAV, Balint. We're glad to have you with us.

On the MD-80/83/87, they are interchangeable - we really make no distinction beyond the timetable and selecting flights. You can fly whatever model of the 80 you have whether it is analog or glass panel. Many of us have both the Flight 1 Super 80 (analog) and the Super 80 Pro (glass panel).

Check the calendar for our GFIs and join us and get to know us. They are scheduled at 0000Z Friday and Sunday evenings which will make it early Sat/Monday mornings for you. The Friday GFI is where most of us fly (since it is a reasonable time for us) with a few on the Sunday repeat.

There is usually a UTC GFI scheduled on Friday at 1800z but I don't know what the participation in that is. We have several non-USA members that might get more involved in the UTC GFIs if someone were to post their intention to be there well in advance.

Get involved as you can -- but the more you get involved the more you'll get out of your AAV experience.
