Saturday mornings Harold, Sergio, Ted and I most always fly somewhere in the FS world using our GA aircraft, or we practice our skills with the biggy jets. This past saturday we decided to fly in the Pacific Northwestern USA. Making a good flight from near KSEA we flew around for a little over an hour and landed in Canada. Enroute we found some very spectacular scenery. This is the views you don't get at 34,000' at 300+mph.
Harold an I were using our little 185 taildraggers, just able to get over the mountain passes. Good weather prevailed useing ASV6 and the FTX-PNW scenery for the great views.
We are always looking for more company on our little trips. WLP
I remember way back when we used to have a round-the-world gfi in DC3's. No pre-planning, just takeoff from the last airport we landed at and head east. Those were fun!
