Welcome Brad, Your questions are easily answered in the Pilots Handbook. But here quickly, As a trainee you may fly routes that use the CRJ/ERJ aircraft, but use the ATR aircraft. Make sure the flights are not greater than your aircrafts ability to fly it. Don't run out of fuel !

Fly the time in the timetable for your flights, and your correct, adjust the FSX clock accordingly. Your not expected to fly the "redye".

You were right! The pilots manual has the CRJ listed for trainee Eagle pilots as well as a 737 which is awesome. I was looking at the handbook page page which only listed the SAAB 340, ATR 42 and 72 for trainees. That's great, it will be nice to get over 300 KTS on some of the initial flights Thanks for your time and help.

Whoa, slow up a little here. Yes, the routes list the larger aircraft but.... you are only allowed as a trainee to use the prop planes. You will fly the Props on the ERJ/CRJ routes only if the ATR will meet the distance requirements. 25 hours till the small jets.

I am with you now. I will be using the Flight 1 ATR 72-500. Thanks, sorry for the mix up. I thought that was to good to be true. I read the American Eagle Program in the AAV Pilots Manual PDF. Should I disreguard this manual ? Thanks for being patient

Where did you find this PDF manual? Do you have a link? The link on the left hand of the page takes me to a web-based Pilot's Operating Handbook. Not trying to be smart, but we may be having an issue with a "different" AAV out there with a simliar web address or there is an old link that may have been overlooked on our site.
