FSX crashes with SB4. Help

Gosh Daniel I am not sure what to say now. I use SB4 with the FSX deluxe edition plus all the addons in the world.

I have learned one thing though from these forums is that antivirus programs shut down the FS program connected with SB4 and VATSIM, I have deleted mine from my computer. No shut downs anymore. Now I don't open mail or download programs from my FS computer. the Mcafee program I had was terrible for shutting me down.

I did unistall my mcaffe antivirus and it is now wprking. The problem is that now i don t have antivirus and my pc is exposed. Do you know what can i do for that?

Well, Microsoft has a free antivirus program for download which I use. It works very well with the window thingys. I have it on two other computers which I have FSX on and so far no problems. Check the microsoft.com web site for the link. It will be worth it, free!

Yes, I also use the Microsoft antivirus program now. Look for Microsoft Security Essentials on their website. Before this I used AVG antivirus software which was also a free download and it worked just fine with FS9 & FSX. The only problem with AVG is after a time (6mos or so) they start pop-ups asking you to upgrade to their purchased version.
