Don't waste your $$ on these minor minor minor upgrades. Not worth it. Unbelievably, they left the biggest issue - unreliable and ultra-steep (5K+ fpm) managed descents - unaddressed.

Just curious, did you buy the full package or the upgrade package? If you got the upgrade package, was it actually a full install that gets unlocked detecting a prior version installation?
I saw that they have a "special" combo pack pricing for both the Airbus I & II. Was tempted to get that just to have clean, full, installers for both models.
Would be interested to see your screenshots if you have the time...

Rob - I got the upgrade for the standard package. It asked for the serial number of the original install (I think).

I'm curious about the wx radar they added and the FMC operation; if holds and altitude restriction entry has been fixed.

Did one hold and seemed to track well. A little oddity, I set the alt to 10,000 and it slowed down to 180 knts in the hold. Several fairly small managed descents - 2,000 feet and 6,000 ft and it seemed to actually behave reasonably on those although on one, starting at 10,000 ft, it let the speed get up to about 270+ knts. Maybe it's only the large descents it has problems?
Tried the HUD once. Have to go to full screen for that and they recommend best w no cockpit. So so. Don't like flying w/o the cockpit.
Overall, I haven't changed my mind. Still not worth the $$. Do not plan to get Evolution for Airbus 2. Will probably fly these planes some more and if my opinion changes, I'll let everyone know.
