Sigh....Montgomery Alabama. When I went over to the desert, that was one of our sister units. That changed (probably) after the last base realignment. He came in very hot, fast. Should have had enough fuel to go around, fly rwy heading till the busy KOSH tower could reestablish a new approach. I've been to OSH during airventure, it is quite busy folks. Oshkosh rwy is long enough, but if he went long and there are no barriers (tailhook) for him to catch.....well, eat mud I guess. I wonder if Madison sent anyone to help with engine/avionics/hydraulics etc.
