T4 for the BOSS

I'm invoking the privilege of calling Tall Tale Telling Time (TTTT or T4) on the special occasion of the BOSS' birthday. Today, laid back AAV CEO, Michael Blakely, is one hot, heavy calibur - 45!

If you're not familiar with T4, then you obviously didn't read the back of the AAV Pilot's Handbook. But just to briefly outline it for you, it's kind of like a roast - don't worry, the BOSS is a pretty even tempered kind of guy and he's never booted anyone (yet). So, you respond to this T4 by posting your T2 on the BOSS. Remember, the best T2 start with a grain of truth, and it has been judged that spelling at least one two-letter word correctly is sufficient to meet this criteria.

I'll kick off with the first T4 entry- Guess who had to be reminded for months and months to update his profile sig from Sr Captain to Commander long after he had passed the checkride? His excuse? He was waiting to see the raise on his first Commander paycheck.

Happy Birthay, Mike! I know you'll have a great birthday enjoying your family, but also know that we celebrate with you. Thanks for all you do for our hobby.

I think I left "KLAX Hub Manager" on my signature long after handing that off too.

Thanks for the wishes. I have a great day planned.
- Take the day off from work.
- Go to my favorite breakfast spot
- Fly the KPSP-KDFW leg on my bid
- Lunch with my wife at her favorite lunch spot
- Import the new AA timetable
- Work through a few more chapters of the Concorde X tutorial
- Go to my son's high school football game (he's the left tackle)

I better get started!!

Happy B'day Boss. Knowing you I'm sure you had a great one with the family.

BTW, let me echo what has already been said. We TRULY appreciate all the time and effort you put into this VA and its web page. You are one reason this VA is as successful as it is (the other is the people). I know it takes a lot of your time and I want to thank you for giving us some much of your time.
