Probably the only way your going to be able to do it; Make a new camera view cfg and point it at where you want to look. I found a bunch of discussion on making new camera views on the WWW .

I have done this, make another windowed view and use it to see where I am trying to taxi. Then you can use it like a tank periscope. :lol:

Just some ideas.
