Palermo Sicily to Nice France
It's almost summer here in San Diego, so I expected similar warm and sunny weather in Italy and the south of France. Boy was I wrong.
25 knot cross wind gusts on takeoff from Palermo had me leaning on the rudder pedals until my legs ached.
It was beautiful flying of the Mediterranean at 34,000 feet. Then I looked at the LFMN METAR. Moderate Rain?!?! Yuck. Guess I won't be lying on the beach this time.
Maybe I can catch some late season snow if I get my next leg to Innsbruck Austria in this weekend.
Where's the sun?
