Ok..ive had this issue before..fixed it before...but refresh my memory. when i log into vatsim and i'm sitting at the airport. other planes load on top of me. i know i have to untick a setting some where...jsut can't remember which.

Actually i'm going to just do a complete reinstall of fsx. I've been having issues. When I first went to open it up for the first in over a year..i couldn't find the icon. I found it in some obscure folder..and it would open. So i put the disc in and it repaired it. then I could launch it. but issues with textures, odd system busy beeps for no reason..etc. I'm starting fresh.

Ps...i was having issues uninstalling..when I put the disc in I only got repair or uninstall options. selecting uninstall ran into errors with a dll..even though I had uninstalled already. I didn't want to repair. wanted fresh. so i found the Install and Uninstall trouble shooter utility from Windows. Wow. fast and simple to use...and it worked. reinstalling now!

This is the Peer to Peer problem in settings. Uncheck all of them.
