I had that for a while also. I don't know what did what but it cleared up and it no longer appears.
It does work with P3dV3, as I use it now with no problems
Do what my wife used to do with any remote.... just start pushing buttons until something happens.

A "Tampered Log" error message can result in two situations:
- Changed log file;
- FSAcars crash after finishing a flight or when sending the log;
Any editing of the flight log between "Start Log" and "Send Log" seems to result in a "tampered log" error which will prevent the log from being sent. Do not change ANYTHING in the log once you select "Start Log". If you open the file and view it then it is tampered with. You don't have to edit anything, just opening will give this result.
The message means that the log file is corrupted. There are several possibilities:
1 - If it is after FSAcars instalation: Look in to the instalation directory. FSacars doesn't like strange directories;
solution:
Resinstall FSAcars in another directory and don't change the log directory in the options;
Delete the dat file
2 - If FScars is installed for some time it could be due to a crash:
Just for additional information, I didn't see it in that folder either and my FSACARS is working fine. Could it be the .DAT file is only created when actually starting a flight and gets deleted once the flight is submitted? Therefore it only appears if there is an issue with the submission preventing the completion of the process and deletion of the file.
Did you just reinstall or delete the whole directory and all files contained herein ?
Try that and then reinstall using Admin rights, and turn off any virus programs for the few moments. Redo all you information for log on.
