Welcome aboard, Francisca! Thanks for sharing your info.
I too have the Aerosoft CRJ package in MSFS 2020 and the PMDG DC-6 but in P3DV4.5. Have enjoyed flying both in the past. I'll probably wait on PMDG in MSFS 2020 until they put their 737 out.
I'm also the Hub Manager for KPHX, so keep us in mind when you graduate from training and are looking for a hub.

Re: New Hire
Welcome to AAVirtual Francisca,
No worries about the "little hot" landing. I'll deduct the repairs from your virtual paycheck.
We have some goats in KDFW that will take care of the FOD on the runway. (see the goats in this thread: https://aavirtual.com/forum/viewtopic.p ... at#p154884)

Hello Francisca. I am particularly happy to have you as a virtual pilot colleague here at our American airline.
I am sure that you will know how to do it even better than many of us.
Welcome...!

Re: New Hire
Welcome Francisca, it's great to have you as part of our VA and I really liked the introduction you provided. I look forward to you continuing to post on our webpage.
I'm the hub manager of DFW and as Mike said we have goats to clean up the runway and we have very long runways which takes the pressure off and makes it easier for you to land. We are also centrally located thus giving you numerous options to fly anywhere.
Again welcome aboard.

Re: New Hire
Yes, I started the goat herd at DFW and "borrowed" a few when I moved to KPHX to start our own herd. Unlike DFW, the Phoenix airport authority does an excellent job of keeping the runways clear without resorting to goats. That has enabled me to focus more attention on innovative uses of fermented goat milk. That was only a sideline in DFW and could only achieve limited success because of the added agitation of "runway" goats dodging aircraft. Here in PHX we have more contented goats whose fermented milk has shown more promise than ever imagined in DFW.Michael Blakely wrote: ↑06-20-2021 03:57 PM Welcome to AAVirtual Francisca,
