I’ve been inactive for years and want to start flying a little bit…. Do I need to do anything specifically before I do so?
Thanks all!

Re: Flying in retirement
Michael,
It has been a long while. Chapter 14 in the POH spells out what and what nots for retirees, I believe Mike Blakeley is also the manager of the retirees, and I believe you would need to be at an active hub to fly. As a Commander you would only need one flight each 90 days.

EDIT( I was in error. see below)

Re: Flying in retirement
You're also welcome to fly at the retirement hub for awhile if you want to test if your free time for flying matches your aspirations.
Just send in a FREP if you want to start from the retirement hub.

Re: Flying in retirement
Thank you both for the reply. Just teaching my son to fly now and I got a whole new setup to do some sim instruction so I wanted to get on line with you all again as well.
Kind Regards

Michael,
My apologies. I think you sent a FREQ some time ago and I missed it. I just approved. Happy flying.
