AAV METAR beta test

I would appreciate a few beta tests of a new METAR report button I would like to add on the site. Currently it's on our test mirror here: http://www.aavirtual.com/test_mirror/mo ... name=METAR

If you have a few minutes, please do some positive tests, then try to break it. Let me know how it works, and any changes/improvements you would like to see.

I clicked on the link and looked up about 10 different airport Metars and got results on all of them. Not sure how we are supposed to "break" it since all your inputting is an ICAO code. Where is the data coming from, Vatsim? or some aviation weather service? Seems to work.

Worked for me. No breakages. It correctly converts < to <.

The only complaint I have is that it doesn't correct mistakes you make entering the code. Maybe that could be worked into vers 2.

I enter KFDW. Surely it should know I meant KDFW.

Mybe we could have it intwined with the Metar link. Like when we pull up the icao MET. It would also show the last PIREP filed for the airport, date and time ofcoyrse.
